乌克兰国家食品安全及消费者产品服务署第一副局长AndriiZhuk博士已经报告了一起在迪尼普市出现的非洲猪瘟疫情。
世界动物卫生组织在8月17日收到了这份紧急通告。疫情第一次出现在8月14日，随后国家科学研究所就实验室诊断、兽医及卫生专业机构方面，对病情展开了聚链合酶链反应，在8月16日确诊。
世界动物卫生组织报告，受感染的猪群包括两个猪圈的猪。由于受到非洲猪瘟病毒感染，牲畜在发现时已经死亡。

AnimmediatenotificationwassenttotheWorldOrganisationforAnimalHealth(OIE)on17August.Theoutbreakfirstoccurredon14Augustandlaterconfirmed(16August)afterapolymerasechainreaction(PCR)testwascarriedoutattheStateScientificandResearchInstituteonLaboratoryDiagnosisandVeterinaryandSanitaryExpertise.
TheOIEreportsthattheaffectedpopulationconsistsoftwobackyardpigs.TheanimalswerefounddeadasaresultofbeinfaffectedbythetheASFvirus.
